Pittsburgh To Do

Andy Warhol Museum (must see, they do 1/2 price tickets and a cash bar on Friday evenings)

Fallingwater (take a day trip to see Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous house built over a waterfall, get tickets and reserve tour spots online before you go, its cheaper that way and the tours fill up fast)

Inclines (take the Duquesne Incline to the top of Mount Washington and enjoy a nice view on the overlook OR take the Monongahela Incline and walk around the small Mt. Washington neighboorhood, I like the Duquesne better)

Laurel Caverns (take a day trip to see the largest cave in Pennsylvania)

Mattress Factory (contemporary art museum)

McDonalds Big Mac Museum (its an actual McDonalds restaurant with the world’s largest Big Mac statue, didn’t visit but someday I’ll talk myself into seeing this 14-ft. statue)

Mount Washington (check out the amazing views from up here)

Pittsburgh Dinosaurs (dozens of decorated dinos can be found all over the city)

PNC Stadium (take a tour or see a game)

Punxsutawney (go for the day and see Phil (and Phyllis) at the library, then drive to Gobbler’s Knob where Phil goes on Groundhog’s Day to predict how long winter will be)

*The Rubber Duck Project (see the 40-ft. tall rubber duck float on The Ohio River)

Seven Springs Ski Resort (take a day trip and go skiing)

South Hills Power Yoga

Three Rivers Heritage Trails (go for a bike ride or run on this pathway along the rivers)

The Waterfront (open air shopping center with restaurants and a movie theater)

*not always in the city
